Lake Oconee is about an hour and a half drive from Atlanta in the small town of Greensboro, GA. It is about a 5 and a half hour drive from Raleigh, NC and a 3 and a half hour drive from Charlotte, NC.

No. All events including the welcome party, ceremony and reception are all taking place on site at the Ritz-Carlton.
